Mr. Tyson applauds a Scottish trust’s recent announcement that it is building a statue honoring a six-foot bear that fought alongside Polish freedom fighters in World War II. The bear, whose name was “Wojtek,” transported ammunition and may have been fed Nazis. He died in an Edinburgh zoo in 1963.
